El Nino Update

Concern on my end is rising fast related to the continuing lack of rain. A news source reported a high pressure ridge was forming off the Northern California coast - please dear god not another "Ridiculously Resilient High Pressure Ridge" - the meteorological phenomenon that's behind our 4 year drought! This report from CBS News eases my concerns, but the fact is, if we don't get a rainy pattern re-established in the next couple weeks, we are going to have to re-activate irrigation systems.
