The east side of San Francisco, from Fisherman's Wharf to Candlestick Point, presents serious challenges to a landscaper. It seems everything in the world will grow here - but very few plants actually THRIVE.   At Mission Bay Landscaping, we know what works on the warmer, sunnier (and windier) side of San Francisco. Our crews have been working on the Mission Bay Redevelopment Project since the very first tree was planted in the early 2000s, and in the Financial District before that, since the 1990s.

We specialize in high-traffic, urban environments with the challenges that are unique to the east side of our city: a very large canine population, massive crowds of tourists, high population density, and our uniquely mild but difficult climactic conditions that features high afternoon winds, foggy mornings, and extreme conditions that can range from drought to floods.  Combine these elements with the fact that almost all landscapes in and around the large buildings in San Francisco are actually growing in containers and not in the ground, and you've defined a very difficult growing environment for most plants.

At Mission Bay Landscaping, we bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our properties. We know what works - what doesn't - and how to correct design errors.  We are experts in water management and irrigation design, installation and repair.  Our consulting arborists are the best in the city.

Our highly skilled landscape technicians (with over 65 years of combined experience) bring professionalism, skill, and great talent to your property. Services include turf maintenance, grooming and careful, selective pruning of shrubs, garden plants and small trees.. We practice Integrated Pest Management, and use organic materials whenever possible.  Sustainable practices dictate what we do and how we do it (i.e., we not only avoid pesticides, but we use only organic fertilizers).
