Artificial Turf - Not what we were hoping for...

Hopes were pinned on the stuff - no water, no weeds, no mowing, no trouble. Of course, there is no such thing as no maintenance. The only thing that requires no maintenance is nature - she takes care of it.

I was amused during my dog walk this morning to see this patch of artificial turf that shows what can happen to the stuff over time. Thought I'd share it with you all:
