I just read that Governor Newsom has signed legislation banning the sale of gas-powered equipment in California, to be implemented "Jan. 1, 2024, or as soon as regulators determine is “feasible,” whichever date is later.".
MBLC uses gas powered equipment very reluctantly. Options for electric-powered tools have been limited in the past, but we purchased our first rechargeable leaf blower a few weeks ago: it's much quieter, much lighter, has no exhaust fumes, is safer for our crew members and our clients.
